3rd class? This is a 5.11, do you even understand the classes?? Class 4 is when you need your hands to scramble up but don't quite need to rope up. Class 5 (as in 5.4, 5.8, 5.12b, 5.15a, etc.) by definition requires ropes. Class 3 are hills that don't require any assistance from your hands (or any ropes). Not to be mistaken with grade (which has to do with how long the climb takes). Grade 1 at best..
Get a book, like the 'Freedom of the Hills'. This will help you understand climbing classes, grades, and ratings and will help you appear on this site like you know something about it...
Class 3... that's just too funny..
Bouldering has its own rating V0-V16, which might apply here since the rocks are like 25 feet high.. some people see these as high boulders and some see them as roped climbs.. Either way, it is definitely not Class 3. Just sayin'. Oct 28, 2016
