Sit start version of Simon Says

Left hand starts on nice in-cut crimp and right on pinch, balance up and then follow Simond Said up the arete to topout.

I started this on the breaking jug and the first move was the crux. With some technique and foot beta it's v3 at most and that might be generous. There are just way too many giant feet and decent handhold options. Not a bad climb though. Felt like v2 at blair woods in pawtuckaway with the rock type. Aug 2, 2015

Just to add some more info, I found a quartz crystal maybe a foot above the right start hand for the stand that I used to get high feet and stand tall to the jug, which is not anywhere close to how you originally climbed it, it seems. I did try it that way, start holds and then bump to the pinch thing up the mini-arete, that felt hard, but with so many hold options for feet and hands I knew there must be an easier way.

All in all, your original description method might be v5, but there are definitely easier ways up this thing, and I am tall, and all of these problems are not.

Thanks for posting it up! Aug 4, 2015
