Description

This choss pile was first climbed in the fog and rain up to the belly button and through the large hollow death flake above it.

All the rock and gear placements above the belly button cave are marginal at the very best. You can see through the flake and feel it flex after you stand up on it.

Protection

Single rack, no anchors

I wouldn't be surprised if many of the hold we used are now missing. I also wouldn't be surprised if we sandbagged her a bit. Feb 15, 2017
We found this climb to be harder than 5.8 -- especially moving up around the cave opening, but we'll come back and check it out, again. Maybe we missed something.
