Start rail at the base of the photo, and you can just make out the anchor bolts at the very top. Great route!

[Hide Comment] This is a great line and a great find by Kevin. An interesting crux and fun movement on surprisingly good holds makes you wish it did not finish so quickly. The only reason I don't give it a classic status is due to my preference for long routes, and it is too short for me. For others, it will be one of the best of its difficulty in the canyon. Good eye, Kevin. May 18, 2015

[Hide Comment] Thanks, Elijah! I love the crimping on this route, though it is short and I am biased.... May 18, 2015

[Hide Comment] Really fun route. Bouldery start, with a thin traversing section, followed by two powerful moves to jugs to finish. May 26, 2015

[Hide Comment] I like this route the best of the three .12a lines at Low Wire. The first two clips are a little awkward, but after that, the movement is really enjoyable, thin crimps on great stone the whole way. It's more of a roped boulder problem than a route. For such a short line, it sure has a lot of character. Thanks to the FA team for setting this one. Oct 11, 2015

[Hide Comment] Pulled a small crimp off the wall in the fall but forgot to post about it. No idea if it changed the grade, still climbable. May 9, 2020

[Hide Comment] I think this route would be a lot harder if you were shorter. Probably a good 12a for people looking to break into the grade. Very flashable if you know the beta.

I use it as a warm-up before I go flail on The Grizz. Mar 9, 2021

[Hide Comment] Can confirm the added difficulty if you're shorter. I'm 5'4" and found it harder than 12a, but I can absolutely see it being a softer 12a if you're a bit taller like my partner. Still 100% doable, just requires a smidge of power. Little anti-climactic due to the height (lack thereof) but pretty decent movement. May 24, 2023
