Description

Climb a fun bulge on good holds into a groove. Continue up until you are forced to step far to the right to gain the large tufa (awesome). and then continue to the anchors. Opinions on the grade of this route vary widely. I have heard everything from 5.8 to 5.10d. So, 5.10a? Let consensus be our guide.

Location

Right side of Fire Wall, route number 9 on the Fire Wall Topo.

Protection

Bolts, carabiners on the anchors

[Hide Comment] My favorite was the slightly overhanging, bouldery start! Stepping onto the tufa near the top/middle of the route is also fun. I think this route is easier than .10a. Apr 28, 2015

[Hide Comment] One of my favorites anywhere. Enjoyable movement and the charmingly bizarre rock. So good. Mar 26, 2016
