Description

An excellent bouldery beginning leads to an uninspiring, wandering, slab finish. The wandering finish was the original end of "Saya Steve." Tyler Hoffart added a direct start to create what I have called "Slab Python."

Location

Rightmost route on the wall, number 6 on the Steve Wall topo.

Protection

Bolts, carabiner anchors.

[Hide Comment] I really enjoyed the beginning and ending of this route! Although it does get wandery, it kind of has an awesome Indiana Jones feel to it. :) If you're on the short side, the clip at the second bolt might be a bit of a reach..especially if the draw isn't already hung. Feb 8, 2016

[Hide Comment] I only remember the beginning and wishing it went on for another 80 ft like that. I'm glad Katie at least enjoyed it! ; ) Mar 26, 2016

[Hide Comment] Haha Tyler, I know what you mean! That's how I feel about those left-side routes on Fire Wall. The ones that go through the black rock at the start...so so good! Jun 12, 2016
