Widest, most obvious line up Potato Hill. It's very remote, and gains a lot of altitude, it's the natural line up the peak. The climbing is very easy, and sometimes requires tool placements in moss, or on dead trees. If you're looking for an easy snow/ice gully style route that gains spectacular position, this fits the bill. It is not a sustained, technical couloir, or waterfall. Be prepared to bushwhack far more than a reasonable person would consider. Bring a map, compass, and altimeter. Don't fall. This isn't the place you want to get hurt.

It's easily climbed, not so easily accessed. Best accessed and descended from the Buncombe Horse Trail.

Maybe a short section of rope (50-100') if you have a shaky second. Otherwise, solo. Slung trees may be only pro. Route didn't take screws on 3/1/15.
