About 200 feet of easy hiking up a snow gully deposits you at the base of a WI2 pitch to start leading to a WI3 finish.

A 60 meter rope might get you to the top in one pitch but make sure it's a full rope and your belayer is tied in and ready to climb! Probably best to split into two shorter pitches. Alternatively, you could solo up a few easy bulges to set up a belay which would help since the bottom is pretty mellow.

Just under a quarter mile south of the Brookfield/Williamstown town line on rt. 14 is a cool bit of ice about 200 feet from the road. This flow is on the west side of the road. Park on the west side of the road as the road is turning left (if headed south).

There are interesting rap options once you get to the top. There is brand new (as of 1/15) bright orange webbing at the top of the flow which can be used to rappel down but the carabiner/quick links are in rough shape and are fused solid on some older tat so the orange webbing can't really be used. Bring a leaver biner if you have one for the top. On the left side of the slide about halfway down is another rap station with bright orange webbing and a biner.
