Climbs the Grande Spire (eastern). This route is reached by climbing the first pitch of Aguja Celo Rey, which climbs the spire to climber's right from the notch. Off the Notch tops out on the tower to climber's left.

5 bolts, anchors, and an old piece of Mexican iron (if you want psychological pro when going from the anchors to the summit).

The grade of 5.10 comes from the 19th edition of the "Climb El Potrero Chico" guidebook/pamphlet. It felt a touch harder than Celo Rey, but not by much (10- maybe). Do both from the notch for 2 awesome pitches and summits! Feb 16, 2015

My favourite of the two spire climbs from the notch! More vertical and more interesting movement and position. Do it! Mar 7, 2019
