FA: Andy Genereux, 02/2014
International > N America > Mexico > Nuevo Leon > El Potrero Chico > TNT Wall

Description

Follow fun pocket pulling and sharp edges to the anchor. Steeper than most Potrero routes and the pump builds as you get closer to the anchors. Large moves between very good holds for the most part.

Location

Just a few feet to the right of Fresh Baked. Between Fresh Baked and No Habla. Starts on the same broad, dirt belay area.

[Hide Comment] A slightly harder version of Baked Fresh Daily. Pump is about the same but has a move or two that is harder. Probably a letter grade harder overall. Feb 20, 2019

[Hide Comment] No move on this felt in the 5.10 range, maybe pump gives it a 5.10a rating? Regardless this route is stellar, get on it Jan 18, 2023

[Hide Comment] Not sure how anyone could think this was 5.9 unless they were on a completely different climb. I am very confused by the braggarts on seemingly every route in EPC downgrading things by 3-4 grades.

I'm glad you found it easy I guess?

Pumpy route and fun moves that doesn't let up until the top. If someone told me this was 10d or 11a I wouldn't bat an eye but maybe that's because it was O/S at the start of the season with no chalk on the route. Nov 20, 2024
