Nice waterfall running right beside this climb. We used the right arete along with the face and it felt more like 5.8. Very similar to Nothing's Shocking but doesn't have the bouldery start of that climb. Feb 3, 2015

Crux in my opinion is below the first bolt (which is easy to clip before committing with a clean safe fall). Short delicate traverse, but once established on the arete, climbing felt like 5.6/5.7 to the anchors. Giving this a PG13 rating because the bolts are about 5 ft to the climbers left from the arete. In the event of a fall you would pendulum and most likely smack into the neighboring formation. However as mentioned before, the climbing eases significantly so just be a solid 5.8/5.9 climber if you're going to lead it and don't fall past the first bolt. You won't die but it won't be clean. Confident 5.9 leader shouldn't blink at an eye at this climb. Nov 22, 2015

Does anyone know if this climb is meant to go up the face direct or out onto the arete? Dec 10, 2017
