FA: Eric Williams
Arkansas > Northeast Arkan… > Jamestown Crag > Never Never Land

Description

Crux is probably near the start where you have to do a very dynamic throw to a two-finger pocket on pretty blank face. continue upwards towards a funky right leaning dihedral, and use an optional drop knee to go over and finish.

Location

Located at the bottom of the 4th class scramble/rope down (past the climb-down approach to the main Jamestown area)

Also located secluded from the other three routes in this area. You need to follow the bluff line right another couple of minutes to find the sneaky entrance to this great climb.

Protection

approx 4 bolts, has anchors.

[Hide Comment] One of the last I had to do at Jamestown. I found this description to be a bit off. There's no dynamic throw to the pocket and the crux is directly after those start moves to the 2nd (for me anyway). Stick clip the first and don't let your guard down for the awesome finish through the dihedral! Make the hike for this one and watch out for the squirrel nest at the break! Oct 30, 2017
