Description

This is the second route from the left. Climb the steep face up to a horizontal crack. Hand jam right, then move up to clip a lower-off anchor. The gyrations to clip the anchor are all part of the fun.

When did bolts near features that take good gear become OK at Josh?

Given the funky moves right, why not just just continue to the top? I'll admit I didn't continue all the way, but I was able to jam to a level higher than that anchor. Feb 9, 2015

Originally there was a big jug facilitating the clip to the lower-off anchor....but it subsequently has broken off, so the clip is somewhat more difficult, but still do-able. Feb 3, 2015

Reaching the anchor from the crack was the key to success - solid, yet not solid all at the same time. Feb 1, 2015
