Description Suggest change

From the Crescent Spire-Brenta Spire col, follow the broad ridge to where it narrows near the summit. The final portion of the ridge has a few 4th class steps.

This route is highly recommended for those days where the weather is marginal. Views from the summit are spectacular.

Location Suggest change

See the Brenta Spire page for details on reaching the Crescent-Brenta col.

Continue north along the ridge for the Brenta-Northpost traverse. Otherwise reverse the route to descend.

Protection Suggest change

Most parties would solo the route, though a lightweight rope and a few pieces of gear may be prudent for novice climbers.
