Description

A small crag hidden behind some cedar trees just north of the Devil's Chair. There is a main flow and three or four different lines possible.

Location

There is an overgrown road that descends from the left of Devil's Chair and passes this spot. Easiest approach is by parking at the maintenance bldg.(past Devil's Chair access) and walking back and up the overgrown road. Easy toprope setup.

Protection

Ice screws, trees at top. Lots of loose rock up top, well, less of it after today's trundling...

The old chairlift is too far...if you park at the old chairlift/sledding hill and walk back towards Devil's Chair, you can see a clump of cedar trees hiding the crag. I went back when there was a lot of snow and most of the ice was buried. Mar 22, 2015

Couldn't find this today. A friend and I ended up walking around to the top of the old chair lift through the woods following what looked like an old road, but it definitely wasn't "overgrown." Devils chair was cool.

Would like to find this one as well. Can you see it from the road?

Thanks for posting these! They are a welcome attraction compared with Snow Hill. Feb 1, 2015
