Go to the left corner of the Struggler Cliff (5.5) or start in the dihedral just right of that (5.6), for a crux off the ground. Slab walk and knob step up diagonally right to the leftmost anchor on this wall. Pick your grade of moves up to around 5.10 by using the arete left of the main line, or the less featured face right of it.

Left side of Struggler Cliff. Two bolt anchor is at the west end of the very wide flake of the cliff, past a buckeye tree and crack.

Toprope only.

I went to the gorge yesterday and had a great time doing some top-roping in the Struggler Cliff section. Go to the Corner looks super fun, but when I went to set an anchor, I noticed one of the bolts is super old, rusted, and spins all the way around, the other bolt is bomber, but for the reason of not having redundancy since because I didn't trust the old bolt, I didn't set up the anchor and decided to forgo climbing this route. Maybe I could have trusted it and used both bolts or used only new bolt. What is the best thing to do in this situation?

Those button heads with leeper hangers aren't too bad when pulled perpendicularly in a TR setup, especially if you're equalizing them. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I used this bolt today. Apr 24, 2016

This route starts with 5.5-5.6 but is finished with awesome 5.10 layback up top. Starting the arĂȘte from the bottom is called Swinger. Apr 24, 2016
