Devoted Traverse

V5, Boulder,  Avg: 2.8 from 87 votes
FA: unknown
California > Sierra Eastside > Bishop Area > Buttermilk Country > Buttermilks Main > Mandala/Pope's Prow B…

Description

Sit start at two good opposing sidepulls. Climb up via sidepull crimps and balancy moves, then move right with poor feet to good holds.

Location

On the "backside" of the Mandala boulder, somewhat across from the Womb boulder and immediately uphill from High Plains Drifter.

Protection

I felt comfortable with one pad on this, a rarity for me in the Buttermilks. A spotter is not really necessary.

[Hide Comment] definitely feels like v6 if you're shorter. the movement before the good holds is a bit tenuous for a v5 Jan 7, 2020
