RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

Description

Climbs the line on the left side of the chimney. Climb the steeper-than-it-looks wall through mostly great rock until the wall finally turns over to slab. Pumpy.

Protection

Nine bolts to chains.

Thing has cleaned up pretty nicely since the first ascent. It also feels easier than the first pass; 5.10 it is. Oct 13, 2015

This thing is still super crispy, be really careful while climbing it. The falls are safe, though, so hopefully over time it will clean up. Might find its way into 5.11 over time, though... Jan 17, 2015
