If your looking for something a little outta the box then check out this climb. A fun and challenging run'n jump!

High Expectations is toward the LEFT side of the wave like boulder (where the large black streak ends) there are no holds on the face just a low horizontal seam near the bottom to jump off.

Have fun!

When on the trail passing the dried up pond you'll come to a 'T' with a dirt road, head left on the road up hill. When you get to the first U-turn in the road look directly left and you'll see the top backside of the boulder.

Couple pads

Done by Chas Wilson then me four or five years ago. Maybe done by someone else before that.
No running, you start on the rock and dyno. Jan 3, 2015

Interesting I did both lines on this boulder about 4 years ago also. Are you referring to the problem on the right side of the boulder? Where you can establish on the face before climbing/jumping. This one is more to the left about where the large black streak ends, you can see my white tick mark (in the pic) where I jumped from on the horizontal rail..... Jan 3, 2015
This is a very cool boulder. I especially liked the line you marked in red - step up (no running) and establish on the face via a thin undercling, then a cool off-balance dyno to fun mantle. Couple different run & jump options too. I thought all were worthy.
Thanks for posting it up ATP. Jan 6, 2015
