God's Own Greenstone

V7, Boulder, 20 ft (6 m),  Avg: 3.5 from 15 votes

Virginia > Central & South… > Charlottesville… > Blue Ridge Parkway > Forest > Greenstonia (Ridgeline)

Description

Sit down start on a large Jug/Crimp in the back of the save and move straight out of the cave via crimps until you hit some perfect jugs. Moving off the crimps onto the jugs actually seems to be the crux. Taller climbers can do some foot magic but one of the first ascentionists ended up catching a massive swing. The top is not hard but actually pretty scray. We cleaned and practiced the top on a rope.

[Hide Comment] I did a low start to this problem that starts in the complete far left side of the cave (left hand jug and right hand slopper/crimp). Climb into the original start and finish it up. I don't know if it actually adds a full grade or not but it definitely made the second half of the problem more challenging due to pump factor. worth a try if you find yourself on the problem.
