Description

Another fun moderate, this one is not quite as juggy or steep as some of the other options on this wall, making the climbing a bit more technical and cerebral. Still, it’s an outstanding jughaul that would be a 4-star classic at any other crag in the world.

Location

On the far left end of Weissenstein, beginning behind the large pine tree.

Protection

2 bolts and a couple solid threads to a 1 bolt anchor.

Fun route - only 2 bolts (I didn't think about using threads, though a couple nuts would help protect it better as well). Nice climbing. According to the guidebook and other topos, this is the second route to the left of the steep crack (R3). The route between this route and the crack to the right is "Muffengang", also 6-, but a touch easier/less pumpy and better protected. The anchors are close to each other, so it is easy to share or switch between the two. Jun 25, 2018
