Description

Cool route with hero layback finish (above a bolt)!
Start with funky pulling on flakes to gain shallow hand crack. Use face holds and transition into right finger crack in the corner, utilizing face holds and small ledges to keep this relatively moderate. Clip the bolt from a nice stance and bust out a layback sprint to the the anchors!

Location

30' left of Jew Fro. It has a plaque larger than most tombstones.

Protection

Singles blue tcu and #1-#4 C4, doubles .3 and .4 C4,
One quickdraw. You could potentially use a #6 at the top but placing it would be hard and not really worth it.

[Hide Comment] This route was very new when I did it and still pretty dirty. Hopefully it'll clean up with time. Nov 3, 2014

[Hide Comment] Fun route that you should do. The dusty feet through the layback section make things seem exciting, but my feet never slipped. Nov 3, 2014

[Hide Comment] This area has received recent rockfall which has created this route. May still be an active rock fall zone, just fyi. Nov 7, 2014

[Hide Comment] This is a fun route with a great finish. I did it 2 days after it was put up and it was a bit dusty at the top but it should be much less dusty now. I would expect placing a piece above the bolt would detract from the quality of the route. Nov 17, 2014

[Hide Comment] Jumped on this thing not knowing much due to its absence from the book, and not having mountain project on hand, that being said, i was not disappointed. Great stemming, good gear, and one well placed bolt. FYI the finish to the chains was was like rolling through a sandbox. Oct 12, 2015
