Description

Start with right hand on triangle hold near the tree (same start hold of Slow Vibration) left hand on the rail. I use the the big shelf for feet and then traverse up and left via sloper pods and crimps. Grab small edge over lip and side pull out left to rock over onto the slab and top out.

Location

On the outside of the Chasm boulder, facing south. To the left of the tree. Downclimb an arete/chimney into the Chasm to get down.

Protection

Pads and a spotter to keep you out of the leaf and toad filled hole.

I have some photos and a video that' i'll post when I find my phone. I just pulled the name from the big starting feet and the hole you may fall in. This has definitely been done, probably a while ago, but its just such a fun line I thought I'd put it up. Oct 27, 2014

In the newest version of Bryce's book this is called 'Methods of Escape". This is a cool little line, I tried it at the end of the day a few weeks back. looking forward to going back to it. The Chasm Boulder sure does have some awesome lines! Oct 27, 2014

I think the grade of this climb should be v6. After climbing other standard v6's in the area; Provia, Mouthful of Chalk, Bulletproof and Chasm Crack, this fits right in with the difficulty of those problems.

While this climb is not the most visually appealing line, it climbs fantastic and is pretty sustained. It is a not to be missed line. Oct 18, 2015

Having done most of the same problems as Matt I agree with what he said. Oct 18, 2015
