Description Suggest change

Start out matched on a left-facing sloper, then move straight up near a tree growing against the rock. This has big hands, long reaches, small feet, and unique moves. I think people will like it if anybody decides to try it. I would say it is V4, but I want a second opinion. I am also claiming the FA, but Bob Horan or Luke Childers may have already snagged this one years ago.

An easier variation starts standing with left hand on the sloper and right on the crimp/edge. This takes away two of the best moves, though.

Location Suggest change

This problem is clearly visible from the road, about halfway between the parking lots. Park at the first parking lot, and take the ponderosa trail heading west. This boulder is right by a switchback in the trail, and the tree growing against the rock is its identifying feature.

Protection Suggest change

One pad should be fine.
