Description

Scrubby Corner (also sometimes called "Waterworld") is located at the left end of the flat area with the water-streak and Mecca Lite, just before the base drops downhill a bit to Pilgrimage. Look for the shallow corner which leads up to a big arching roof system.

Mostly easy climbing with a crux near the top. You can either stay in the corner and stem or face climb the right wall on some features. The crack is a little dirty in spots. Very tightly bolted.

Down low on the route is a couple bolts which split off to the left (the top bolt has a rap ring). This is a project and doesn't lead anywhere.

Protection

Bolts, 2 bolt anchor/rap.

[Hide Comment] This climb is worthwhile and would be even more fun probably if it were a bit cleaner. However, the name "scrubby corner" is quite appropriate. Bring a brush with you if you want to clean more holds off. Really fun stemming crux near the top.

[Hide Comment] If this climb was clean it would be a classic bolted climb in the Valley. Great stemming with some thoughtful moves. I did this today with grass in every crack move and slime seeping down the face and still loved it. Probably going back to clean it up next week. Hope everyone enjoys this as much as I did. Thanks Jeff Follett if you were the bolter along with the FA. May 9, 2021
