Description3 pitches of sport climbing gives you a grand tour of the Central Pinnacle.
1) 17- 2 bolts up the left hand arête of the boulder get you to a standing belay at a bolt anchor. It seems sandbagged at 17 (5.9) to me - quite a hard start!
2) 20 - Traverse left from the belay on a mixture of old and new bolts. After 4 or 5 bolts head straight up, passing bolts sometimes not visible from below. This is a long pitch of sustained climbing on small knobs and edges. Belay off two old bolts with hangers just left of the shoulder. If you need to bail you can traverse from here to a bolt anchor on top of the shoulder for a 50 meter rappel (2 ropes necessary).
3) 18 - Progressively lower angle climbing to the top of the pinnacle. Congratulations! 25 rap off the backside of the pinnacle.
