Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April Details
The Echo Canyon climbing areas are located within the Henefer-Echo Wildlife Management Area. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources closes all access to the WMA each year from January 1 to the second Saturday in April to protect wintering wildlife.
DescriptionThis is one of the routes on the section of the wall where it is steep for the first 20 feet or so which makes it fun. The crux is the first three bolts where the route is slightly overhanging and the moves are decently long. After that, the route just gets easier the higher you get as the route becomes more and more slabby.
LocationThis is the fifth route from the left side of the wall, just to the left of where the trail meets the wall. The route is between Lightfoot and the unknown route just left of Cimmaron.
