Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April Details

Description

This is a fun route that begins in an obvious vertical crack on the left side of the wall. The crux is between the first and second bolts then the route turns into an easy slab for the rest of the way.

Location

This is the third route from the left of the wall between 2 Mules and Lightfoot.

Protection

around 10 bolts to a 2 chain anchor

The moves for the first couple of bolts look pretty straight forward, but looks can be deceiving. Powered through thus said crux, but it was ugly, pretty sure there is a better way. Rest of the route is nice cobble/slab cruise to the anchors. Oct 19, 2014
