Access Issue: Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer)
Details
The Echo Canyon climbing areas are located within the Henefer-Echo Wildlife Management Area. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources closes all access to the WMA each year from January 1 to the second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer) to protect wintering wildlife.
Description
This route starts at the same crack/flake where Play misty starts, but quickly heads right to get to the first bolt. The crux is encountered as the route passes the right side of the large hueco about midway up the route as the rock kicks back to vertical for a couple of feet. This would be another great first lead.
