Description

A beautiful doo doo inducing line up the jugs on the obvious overhanging face of the boulder. The landing slopes away at steep angle into a crevasse that an unspotted fall most likely would result in tumbling into. Don't tumble into the crevasse. You're going to have a bad time.

Protection

This is a little tricky but you can probably manage a couple of pads and a couple good spots for two skilled and confident spotters. Pictures look better unprotected anyways

"How do you get off of this thing?"

I down climbed the slab and jumped onto the small boulder climber's right of the large crevice. My friend down climbed to the large Hueco and dropped down onto a pad. Jul 20, 2016
Pg-13, Not X... You can fall at the lip of the boulder and be totally fine. Even under worst case circumstances it would hardly get an R rating May 26, 2017

A potential fall from the lip to the deck would probably only constitute a pg-13 rating. But I believe the "X" stems from the potential to fall and roll/slide down the deck into the crevice. The crevice is only about 2.5 ft wide and 20' deep immediately down the sloping deck in front of the problem, but gets wider and deeper to the right (facing away from the problem) and eventually tapers into a 40/50(?) ft. cliff. I'd give it an R I guess, but it definitely gets the heart going! Sep 11, 2017
