45 degree overhanging hands/fist crack.
The crux - turning the lip.
Burly. Big fists helps. For really small girlish hands rating be different (inversion?- maybe).
Taping for size ? - biggest sin.

Park at Roadside Attraction area, walk back to Arch Rock.
Start basically in the river.
Other side of the boulder has 5.8 7 inch ow.

There two bolts on top of the boulder to set up top rope, but you can lead it with one yellow and 2 blue.

haha! I happened upon this route while updating the info for Roadside Attraction. Way funny.

As for River Boulder... way slick rock (duh) and having big hands do help. Almost a boulder problem but not quite. We always top roped it. Fun stuff! Feb 8, 2017
How high off the ground are you at the lip? Is the landing flat? How many pads would you need to feel OK falling from the lip? Looks sweet. Right by the road so super convenient, especially if you do not need to bring the rope out! Sep 13, 2017
