Description
Fantastic couloir with an unbelievably short approach. This is a great way to spend a morning.
July 2014 the couloir started at 40 degrees, with a headwall finish at 56 degrees.
Holds snow well into the summer
This area has a plethora of different couloirs and (possibly?) mixed routes to climb, hike around the lake and take your pick.

Location
Park at the Lake Marie lot right off of Hwy 130. follow the sidewalk to Lake Marie and then break off left to follow the Lake around to the bottom of the obvious couloirs.
Scramble up a few boulders and the couloir starts under the Diamond Buttress and climbs left of it.
Ski, glissade or hike down. You will see the Medicine Bow trail 20 feet after the topout, follow it down to the left back to the car, or up to the right to hike up Medicine Bow Peak.
Car to car was under 2 hours
