Tense Mossworks

5.9+, Trad,  Avg: 2 from 2 votes
FA: Alan Rees and Ben Townsend
Maine > -Camden Hills > 12. The Rampart

Description

This is a crack that starts just to the left of Dream Weaver. It has been cleaned and makes for a nice trad lead (when dry).

The crack ends at the ledge below the crux of Dream Weaver, so the logical finish would be to continue up to the DW anchor.

This crack can be easily seen (left of the climber) in the "photo of Josh" posted with Dream Weaver.

Protection

A set of wired stoppers.
Cams ranging from 1 cm to 8 cm.

[Hide Comment] FA Alan Rees and Ben Townsend, finishing up the thin-crack corner on the left. The name is actually Tense Mossworks -- a lame play on Moss Tentworks, now out of business and apparently long forgotten, which was a maker of high-end tents located in Camden in the 1970s. Aug 21, 2014
