Description

This climb is on you the moment you step off the ground. You will encounter bouldery moves and technical thought provoking problem solving. I watched several good climbers work this out, and everyone seems to have different cruxes regardless of height and geometry. Once you gain the lip at the top, enjoy easier climbing up the arĂȘte to the chains.

Location

The route is to the right of the main wall on the other side of a steep gully/slab. Euolgy is the second climb from the left. Just right of Rigor mortis and climbs the overhanging prow with a short, sweeping dihedral in the middle.

Protection

8 bolts, fixed anchors (chains/steel biners).

I think this is one of the coolest, funnest shorter routes I've done in Rifle. Very sustained and feels full-value for the length. Either very hard 13AAA, or 13b. Felt harder than Marry Me which is similar in length and considered solid 13b. Jun 8, 2015
