Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
Climb the face left of an arete, Wounded Knee.
Harvey is the 6'3" 1/2 tall, invisible white rabbit, aka the Pooka, a benign but mischievous creature from Celtic mythology.
The 3 routes Elwood P. Dowd, The Pooka, and Harvey are a tribute to Mary Chase, who owned part of Staunton Park. She wrote the play Harvey, that be came the classic movie Harvey, 1950, staring James Stewart, as Elwood P. Dowd.
Location
At the base of the Meadow Dome, just as you enter the corridor on the left, the Permission Wall starts, there's steep slab with 3 bolted routes From right to left, these are Wounded Knee, Harvey, and Elwood P. Dowd.
