Shark Fin

5.10a, Trad, 33 ft (10 m),  Avg: 3.3 from 6 votes
FA: unknown
International > N America > Canada > Yukon Territory > Takhini River &… > Golden Canyon > Cranberry Meadows

Shark Fin follows a right leaning crack with good gear placements and good rests. Then it zigzags up to a horizontal crack. Head right to the fist-sized crack. No feet make for a committing move into the crack, but after that it's straightforward to the top.

2min walk up from Ballpark Boulder, on the right. There are a lot of large flakes/boulders at the bottom of the climb.

Gear to 3", anchors at the top.

[Hide Comment] So good! Crack climbing going from fingers to fists plus some face moves thrown in. Harder than it looks from the ground. But definitely one of the highest quality crack climbs in the Yukon imo. Sep 4, 2022
