Description

The majority of the climbing on this pitch is quite pleasant, with good holds and rests throughout. Most of the climb is 5.8-5.9 with two 5.10 cruxes: one at bolt # 6 and one at bolt #8.

Location

It is located within the cluster of more moderate routes on the West Side. More precisely, it's 10 feet south or climber's left of Bonsai.

Protection

10 QDs are needed. If you clip the first bolt of Bonsai, then you'll need 11 QDs to make it to the anchor.

It's a fun one! Early season may be a bit of a shouting match with your belayer due to cfs of the creek. Give it a go if you are working on .10s, you don't need to be overly strong for the movement. Jun 4, 2017

This is a nice route. Tightly bolted. Doesn't feel any harder than Bonsai. Sep 16, 2014

Nice route, bolted thoughtfully. Could be led by climbers aspiring to this grade. Jul 25, 2014
