This route, though rated 5c+ in the guidebook, seemed quite soft for the grade. Stem up the enveloping chimney and reach right at the top to clip the anchor. I found it to be nothing but pure fun!

Cleaning on descent is difficult. Might be best to just downclimb on belay instead of weighting the rope and having your partner lower you.


This route is on the left side of the Fire Wall, just right of popular Avri. Its the obvious large chimney.

Seconded to all the above - a little soft for the grade & annoying to clean. Otherwise very fun, there are definitely many creative ways to climb the chimney Oct 1, 2017
