Description

Climb the face between Bird Brain and Road Warrior up to join Bird Brain near its first crux. Continue up beautiful orange streak to a bulgy nose finish.

Location

Downhill and right from Birdland on the face/slab between Bird Brain and Road Warrior

Protection

Looks kinda dicey but I only TR'd it.

No way is Slammin' the Salmon 12a. It may have been when Dick published the last trapps/skytop book but... Aug 8, 2017

I must have done this route totally wrong. Because no way is this the same grade as the direct version of To Be Or Not To Be (12a).

The middle cux is hard and sustained and the final crux is a tough boulder problem ... V5 I thought. Maybe it's height related. But I worked this route the same time I was working Survival of the Fittest and I got Survival before I got this complete.

I definitely find this route closer to 12c. Oct 8, 2015
