Sit start with a right hand gaston, an inverted left hand pinch, and a left heel hook. From there, pull off the ground and reach a left hand jug (crux), use a series of good edges with the right hand on the face, continue bumping the left hand up the arete, and finish it off using the jugs on top.

This ascends the south arete on the south face of Rattlesnaker Rock.

A pad or two will work, the landing is good, but it is sloping, and there are some rocks surrounding the fall zone.
