Description

Climb up off a ledge through a very thin crack to a stance below a roof. Pump through the roof and continue on up through the crack past a small tree. Traverse left on a horizontal and continue up the crack to the top.

Location

The route starts on top of a small ledge on the right side of the obvious arete. There may be a fixed anchor directly above the top out, but the rap anchor is off and to the left and puts you down on the face on the other side of the arete.

Protection

Standard ADK trad rack.

Really nice route. Short bushwacking. Watch for wasps nest on the route sometimes. Makes a nice warm up for climbing some of the harder routes across the street. Aug 28, 2014

Good climb. Neat paralleling crack systems. The fixed anchor is still directly above the climb (set back about 10-15ft) as of June 2015. Two pieces of webbing and now an 8mm cordelette with two rapp rings. A 70 will get you back to the starting ledge. Jun 3, 2015
