Description

This route should be called "Bro Den" Start where the boulder makes the claim to be the bro den. Jump to small chicken heads. Smear/use small crystals covered in slippery paint to make tough moves to more small chicken heads. Mantle and climb to the top of the boulder and proclaim yourself "King of Bros".

Location

In the backside of the boulder.

Protection

pads. It's cheating to use more than one for the jump.

I don't recall "picasso" ever being painted there(it could have been at some point), but I named it that as a result of all of the crazy spraypaint all over the wall creating a very random esoteric painting :)

Even so, I shouldn't have named it as it seems like Alan Julliard actually did the FA on this problem back in the mid-eighties. As far as I know he's fine with the name though as he never named it. He and Paul berryhill did most of the lines on this boulder during the eighties. Sep 12, 2014

Todd, thanks for the history on this problem. The paint sure makes the feet on this slippery... Sep 12, 2014
