Description

The route starts out very steep with good holds then turns a roof and takes on a slabby nature. This is a varied and fun climb. It is harder than CNC 1.

Location

This is the second bolted line from the left at Crack of Noon, just right of an obvious roof.

Protection

Bolts to a bolted anchor. It shares an anchor with CNC 1.

[Hide Comment] Definitely harder than CNC 1, though they are both rated 5.9. 5.9 seems to be the proper grade for CNC 2. For me the crux was up high on the slab portion where you have to use a shallow undercling to move up. I had trouble getting my feet high enough to make the undercling work. After a bit, I finally found the right spots for my feet, reached up and found something decent to hold onto as I moved my feet up and over the undercling. Aug 18, 2014
