Description

The first crux is low between the 1st and 2nd bolt with a few hard moves of 5.9-5.10 higher up. Well protected throughout the climb, with bolts right where they need to be.

Location

In the north grotto, behind and north of the route Right Field.

Top rope access can be reached by scrambling northwest around the grotto. A protection bolt has been placed to safely access the top rope anchors. The top rope anchors are a bit exposed, best to clip the bolt for access.

Either lower off anchor chains or walk off at the top and scramble back around and down into the north grotto.

Protection

6- 3.5" 5 piece Powers Bolts with Fixe hangers.

Finishes at a comfortable stance with a 2 bolt anchor equipped with plated chain and quick links for the lower off.

[Hide Comment] Nice well protected warmup, which is something the Shredding needs, some good 10's. I think the lower section is solid 10.b, if you do not move too far to the right on to the ledges. Fun line. As with most climbs here, bring a stick clip, ground falls would be harmful! Aug 29, 2014
