Description

PLEASE NOTE: If unfamiliar, it is recommended to stick clip the first bolt. Dim View is not as straight forward as it may seem. Also, due to the span between bolts 1 and 2, make sure your belayer is on their "A Game", to keep you off the ground if a fall were to occur.

Start on the small boulder in the ground for Return To Forever, from there climb up and left, when you reach the first big horizontal go straight up from there, eventually pulling through the jug chair, pick the path of least resistance to top out to Jill's anchor.

Location

Locate the small boulder in the ground that is used to start Return To Forever, from there climb up and left while paralleling Jill's

Protection

4 bolts plus an anchor

The full name is actually "Dim View, Dark Shadows, Night Of The Living Dead". It came about as dusk fell and Jim, Doug and I were walking along the base headed home after a day of climbing. As we pass it Doug spots it and just drops his shit and boulders up a ways and jumps down saying "it should be called Dim View". I jump on it and get up high enough to scare myself and have a fuck of time seeing things to downclimb and on the ground say, "no, we should call it Dark Shadows." Now it's getting seriously dark, but Jim gets on it anyway and basically boulders the crux and scarily downclimbs it and on hitting the ground says, "no, we should call it Night Of The Living Dead." So "Dim View, Dark Shadows, Night Of The Living Dead" became the name, but of course, when anyone referred to it they just said Dim View and that's what got passed down through the years.
