Lou Cerutti adds: On our way in yesterday we were stopped by a quarry employee who initially tried to deter us from entering adding that we were on private property and that they never catch the climbers they see up there. After a friendly chat he decided to let us go. I suggested I'd be happy to speak with the owner and left him my phone number. I never heard back but we may want to add some info about keeping a low profile there.
Description
Big Bird is an excellent adventure route. It starts at the toe of the Sesame Street Buttress via an improbable but doable off width/squeeze chimney. From here the route wanders up and left to an amazing crack in a large right facing alcove. When this ends climb steep face up and left one body length to surmount top of buttress.
