Description

Beautiful right arching dihedral to under cling roof, on impeccable dark orange granite. Crack in dihedral goes from perfect hands to tips. When roof peters out it is possible to continue up Original Route face or back up and left on grassy ledge/flake system.

Location

Cougar Crag West. The Black Arch is obvious right trending black arch in the middle of the main wall. It starts just right of the Dirty Dihedral.

Protection

Standard Rack. Original Route bolted anchor.

[Hide Comment] solid route. as of March 2018 bolts are good. there is a two bolt anchor at the end of the crack, continue up the bolted part of Original Route to a second anchor with rap rings Apr 4, 2018
