Bolt Failures - Donations Help Details
Accelerated corrosion that targets stainless steel bolts (SCC) has caused multiple failures, including both anchor bolts on a route that a climber was being lowered off of. Please read the BOLTS note on the main page. You can also help the cause by visiting the Bivy during your stay and giving QX some reds, whites, or if youre feeling generous, some BLUES!
Descriptionreally great climb! committing past the 4th bolt was the crux for us (unfortunately the re-bolters poorly placed this bolt at least 50 cm left of the original 4th bolt). additionally this bolt is only clip-able during or after the crux. probably better to hang the draw for this bolt beforehand
other than the crux, the rest of the climb is easily protectable with gear.
Locationclimbs arete/face left of obvious "yum yum" dihedral. 1st line of bolts right of "who fooled who"
