This is the bolted second pitch of or extension to All American Hand Crack. It goes straight up the arete past three bolts to a two bolt anchor at the top. Run it out from the anchor at the top of All American Hand Crack to the ledge. Step up on a block and clip the first bolt, then climb straight up the arete to anchor at the top (Now properly Equiped with Rings).

You can also climb to the top and finish the pitch from both All American Hand Crack and the corner to the left of the arete.

2nd pitch of All American Hand Crack.

Three bolts and one optional #2 camalot (for the break at the ledge).

This is a fun, technical and thoughtful bit of climbing. A great addition and antithesis to AAHC. May 7, 2014

It is possible to lead the corner left of All American to All American Arete as a single pitch and still lower with a 70M. A 60 would not work. There was approximately 7' of rope at the end. Jun 20, 2014
