Climb the Arete between the east and the north faces.

This is the arete between the east and north faces of the formation.

Several options to set up a top-rope. Use long slings (30 ft)

The guidebook "Bay Area Top Ropes" gives this climb a 5.7 rating, the same as the "polished rock" face climb to the right of the arete. (about 1/2 way between the arete and the obvious large crack in the East-Facing face, which I guess is called the "North Face")

However, I couldn't find any move that came even close to the move(s) on the "polished rock" climb! Did I climb in the correct place? I kept exactly to the arete as much as possible. Apr 18, 2016
